Thanks so very much for your appreciation; my work was recently rejected by experts of Luca, School of Arts in Brussels. The rejection was based on very vague reasons; I’m still analyzing those and I intent to publish an objective report on this kind of ‘expertise’. You can imagine that words of appreciation are really, well, appreciated…
I can’t understand why the rejected your fantastic work!! And with vague reasons… huh…
Keep up and continue doing your work! I have been in this game for many years, and I know when I see a good photographer!
@Malin: my presence, my questions, my silence, my experience (as a teacher) was unmasking the incompetence of some ‘teachers’ (Luca, School of Arts, Brussels). Rejection of my work was a characteristic revenge for violating the rules of the Brussels art omerta and the real identity of some anonymous protagonists. If I would publish the (official) report of the ‘jury’, you wouldn’t believe your eyes. Art photography in Belgium is an awful cesspool. I’m happy not to have sold my soul and to enjoy freedom of speech….Daily and to eternity.
@ Malin. P.s. in case you would still be so naive as I was. The work itself has no importance at all; it’s all about connections, networking, hidden interests. A local sociologist (Pascal Gielen) described it in his book ‘Kunst in netwerken’. Probably this mechanism will also work in Sverige.
I really admire your work. So much details, this images needs time and I hope people give them that time.
