E mais facil aprender na rúa. I learnt Portuguese in Brazil on two “road trips” when I was a student. And I worked with brazilians a lot too. Now my spelling and grammar are awful, but I get around. I speak what is called “Portunhol”: when I don’t know the portuguese word I put a spanish word and see how it works. Have you ever gone to Portugal or Brazil? (Best way to practice) Boa noite rapaz…
I like the horse head shot as well. Did you try waiting a second or two until the real horse took a few steps further and had its head disappear behind the base of the statue? Not sure the foreground to background scale was exactly right, but if it was, it could have been a very funny image.
The horsehead shot…just brilliant!
I waited a minute….
I like the horse and the Portuguese lesson…
Boa noite.
(I started to learn portugese – muito dificil…)
VC tem que pensar em frances: La porte = a porta. La rue = a rúa… And if you have done Latin, it will help. Bom fim!
Obrigado. Ainda é difícil e confuso. (Thanks to google translate I can already write this 🙂 )

Oh yes, I did wait and took several pictures. Problem were the many tourists that kept on crossing my image…
