Life is not simple.

To what extent is an image indebted to reality? What is reality? What is my reality? Is an image reality? Does the lie in an image need to be unmasked? Are we all a bit like Steve McCurry, who claims to show reality, but blames others for its falsification? Is the fake reality? Should we as photographers show reality, or as documentarians? Was Henri Cartier Bresson an impostor, who ‘derrière la gare Saint-Lazare’ challenged his own theory?
