My Onraët ancestors come from Courtrai and Lendelede in the 16th century. They even had an inn called De drie Koningen around the mid 1600… 😉
You and I might be cousins. 😉
Tot ziens mijnheer.
‘Onrae(d)t’ is still a known family name here in the west of Flanders. There are still some inns with the same name ‘De drie Koningen’ (The three wise men). It’s a small small world… but I wouldn’t like to sweep it …
Haha! One of my brothers actually went to Lendelede and had a beer at De drie Koningen. It was bombed flat during WWII but rebuilt. In concrete, sadly.
Cheers Luc
Il y a encore une belle lumière. Winter not arrived quite yet?
Grâce au changement climatique, je me rends deux fois par semaine en vélo dans la ville laide de Bruges…
Haha! Il y a des villes plus laides encore…
🙂
Have you ever been to Lendelede? That’s not far off.
Lendelede, I know the place. What’s the link between you and the village?

Et de René Magritte.
