Not to be cynical : I was shooting from a trench-perspective in Passendale (Passiondale) where thousands of soldiers died in World War 1. (On every edge of every field one can still find ammunition… after 100 years).
that’s a narrative i would not have suspected. good to know now.
Most of my pictures are ‘multi-layered’. Something I learned while teaching photography and practising it daily.
that again is something i already had suspected… 😉
