Sculpture made out of light and shadow. Brilliant shot. Would have been even better as a square crop, if you don’t mind any critic …
I have considered this; from a composition point of view you might be right. But in a square composition I would have to drop the context. It would have been an abstact thing. The sheet would have become a product shot, I guess. Considering reality and all of its impact on our lives I thought I had to show it. I’m glad you’ve noticed the same problems which I encountered while I was making (several) pictures of this ‘sculpture’.
I made lots of experiences struggeling with the subject. You made something good out of it. I’m still struggeling … This keeps us runing, doesn’t it?
It’s not just a struggle; it’s a way of being astonished about the reality around us. It’s all about unmasking the world….
