Real diary (651) im Rückspiegel
by lucas dewaele
“There is nothing as mysterious as a fact clearly described I like to think of photographing as a two way act of respect. Respect for the medium, by letting it do what it does best, describe. And respect for the subject, by describing it as it is. A photograph must be responsible to both.”
Garry Winogrand
Un campionario ricchissimo di scene di vita quotidiana. Se sempre bravo. Luc!
Grazie. Tenere un diario è un duro lavoro…
Scènes de la vie quotidienne. J’ai ressenti la même chose à Paris ces dernières semaines. 🙂 (Good to be home even if only for a while)
The “Alex”? Did you go to Berlin? What did you think?
Tot ziens Luc
Berlin, Alexanderplatz. It’s the epicenter of all Berlin. Fantastic city. A pity I could only stay a week… A visit must be on your bucket list.
I have been there. Once. 4-5 years ago? I liked the new Berlin and the Berliners. Got around better with my scant German that English. But something about this city freaked me out. Al the street names. Alexanderplatz, Wilhemstrasse… The Reichstag… Too much dark history attached to every street. Maybe I will go back. Not sure. 🙂
(The only street I liked was Hannah Arendt Strasse) 😉
P.s. more to come. Spread the news 🙂
Look forward to it.
Dit is een fantastische serie Luc!
Dank. Er komt nog wat…
