Your title say avoid, but your photos are beautiful! And what’s more your geometries make the place look good as well. If you ever decide to visit Athens, you will add another town to avoid. 😉
Most of my titles are rather ‘ironic’, though sometimes, very very rarely, someone is blaming me anonymously for my lack of patriotism, instantly refering to my epigraphs. I can enjoy this deeply; I find appeasement in those reactions; these prove the multi-layeredness of my intentions and pictures. Anger and frustration must be part of it.
The characteristics of the compositions is due to my education as a professional photographer. I’m grateful to real teachers as Carl Uytterhaegen and to non-teachers (whose names are available on special request) for showing me the essentials of photography. So, one could conclude I ought to be grateful to all of my former teachers, to my environment and to my bicycle and to the engineers of my fuji x100s…and to…
I was in Athens in 1988, for about 3 hours, while waiting for a plane to Dehli. It’s about time to come back. Seems that the locals are very friendly, especially to non-Germans…?
Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such excellent info being shared freely out there. dbfcbfkfaecb
The first and the last one are my favourites! Good work!
Thanks.
Allen daarheen!

Meet me there

Thanks. I have the misfortune of being a teacher as well.
