Dag Luc. I’ve been thinking about you since yesterday. Glad you’re OK. And I do hope no friends or relations of yours were among the victims. Though, as I felt in the Paris killings, all casualties suddenly become relatives of ours. I must say I have been in shock ever since I heard the news. I posted a “tribute” to Brussels yesterday. You’re welcome to visit. And I agree wholeheartedly with your excellent analysis of “ambiguous politics”. Those two words define our situation precisely. Tot ziens mijn heer.

Physically without injuries, but mentally completely down. A lot of promises and harsch statements will be made shortly….by the captains of politics, trying to make profits out of this situation, on stages and in front of cameras. Believe me, we lost much more than 32 victims….
Not much of a Bible reader myself, but I do know that politicians have always been the same. Ask one what he/she has had for breakfast, he/she will most likely lie to you. 🙁
I understand. It took all the energy I could muster to do my post yesterday. And even to read comments today. I’m moving like in slow motion. I had to force myself to go out and grab a coffee somewhere. Just to see… people, I guess.
Take care, Luc.
Ps. No rush for the photos. The need will come back when it does. No rush.
Are you implying that Belgium is Nemoland?
🙂
It’s better to stay away from Belgium – especially today. Today we see the benefits of ambiguous politics.

Oh yes. I know. Much more than that. And the only winners will be the ambiguous politicians… (Thank you for that… concept)
That ‘concept’ is as old as humanity itself, when I read in Genesis the story of ‘Farao’…

I’m still waiting to meet a poltician, whose main incentive is not based on pure self-interest.You can call me Vladimir or Estragon….:)
🙂
(psst… Estragon?)
Aspettare Godot…
Bien sûr! I confess that book has been on my ToBeRead shelf for thirty years. Waiting and waiting and waiting.
P.s. ever since yesterday I was not able to make pictures. In my diary these days will be black…

Thanks. I keep on thinking about the message of this movie :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Wh2b1eZFUM
I seem to have missed that movie when it came out. I will try and catch up. 85? I don’t think Netflix has it yet…
